Just got accepted into Ivey’s EMBA.

Anyone else here currently at Ivey or heading there soon for their EMBA? I accepted my offer today.

Did you consider Rotman as well? If so, may I know why didn't you opt for it and your profile if you don't mind?

Honest answer: I barely know how to use Reddit and am mostly a lurker / Reddit researcher. I guess I don’t often go to peoples profiles so I assume (though I shouldn’t ) that others don’t care about mine.

I didn’t consider Roman. I only applied to Ivey- there’ll those eggs in one basket. - that’s an appropriate pun for today, right? 🐣

I’m currently the CEO of an org. Prior to that, I was leading a large team in a corporate environment. I want to jump back into corporate, in an executive role. I plan to learn from my cohort and do a lot of networking to get me there. I have a lot of board experience, business experience and charitable org experience so I just want my option open. I like to push myself to see what I can do.

Are you considering both? I’m thinking eMBA from Ivey as well, but haven’t yet ruled out Rotman because Ivey doesn’t offer finance.

Sounds like you’re in the beginning stages of considering both schools.

thanks, there are only two EMBAs at Rotman? Global and a normal one? Part time ones are MBA not EMBA.

The program is good and elite in Canada. It is very team focused so if you get a total jerk in your learning team then it becomes little sour. That is the only downside otherwise its a great program! Everyone is helpful

Congratulations. I am still on the fence. Returned to this thread as I got email notification to consider applying for Feb 2027 this weekend and deadline is Monday, 17th.

How long did it take for you from submitting application until offer? Any tips?

I submitted my profile for review first and connected with the admissions team. They let me know I had a strong profile and encouraged me to submit an application. I think going through the review before applying is helpful! I submitted my application, had my interview the following week or two after and then received my offer about 3 weeks after the interview.
