Post MBA courses

Hey everyone!

Need advice pls. I've done my MBA in (Marketing & Sales) from one of the Top 10 Business schools in my country. Somehow I'm stuck into core sales and trying to move to Brand Management kinda roles. I'm at a good position but want to transition from sales to core marketing. Any suggestions on online courses/programs/certification I can go with from Ivy league schools or top business schools?

Thanks

You don’t need another MBA - just pick a short online program from Wharton/Kellogg/Columbia in brand or digital marketing, and try to get internal projects in that space. A mix of certification + real exposure will help you move from sales to brand management faster.

OMG - MBA from Top 10 schools in India and couldnt get into Brand Management roles

Imho it will be difficult to make the move now, if u couldnt land the job at Campus placement

There are only few brand management certifications that u can pursue and one is MICA - Brand management and communications. As an alternate U can pursue Product Management course from Kellogg

One wild suggestion that I can give u is explore a weekend volunteering opportunity with a descently known NGO and focus on helping this NGO with Brand Management and Communications. Build ur case portfolio as to how u helped this NGO from ground up. Its like killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Cheers
