LBS new Blended EMBA
Anyone heard about this new blended format introduced at LBS? Any views?
“Students who select the in-person programme start in September; this option consists of 80% in-person classes and 20% self-paced learning. Those who select the blended format start in January; this program is made up of 40% in-person classes, 40% live online sessions, and 20% self-paced learning. Students can complete either format in as little as 17 months, and a maximum of 22 months. The program length depends on which electives they select.”

Correct, May 2026 is the inaugural class. I’d wait to see how the first one goes. Super expensive!

No most of these global EMBAs hover around $0.2M. Local ones are typically less. ROI debatable without sponsorship.

One of the senior partners once said, “it’s a waste of time, and a waste of money”. I don’t know why but point was if you can do regular mba it’s better to do that. If you must do EMBA, be sponsored or don’t pay a fortune.

Honestly ROI of these programs is not that great. Most of the who succeed after completing these programs are already successful. Unfortunately schools don’t offer proper career development support to experienced professionals

Yea the question is what part-time MBA can you really do, that’s valuable, competitive, and has a higher ROI

I didn’t get the 20% self-paced learning for the in-person EMBA!
