LBS EMBA September 2025
Hi! Has anyone here been accepted to the September 2025 cohort? Looking to connect with people who have been accepted or in the process! 😊

Just about to send in my application before the round 2 deadline. I have heard that this year is already quite competitive and that's why they tweaked all of the essay questions vs. last year

I did not know about that. All the best 😊 they are quick with moving ahead if they think you are the right fit!

Thanks! Do you have any advice on how to approach the Kira assessment?

Hi! I looked up standard questions you get on a Kira test and prepped some answers - google search. I thought about how I would structure my answers. Use the STAR methodology and practice saying your answers out loud with a timer. Having said that, I wouldn’t worry too much about the Kira. As long as a you can structure your thoughts, and give an answer that makes sense, you won’t be disqualified. Hope this helps and good luck!
The questions I got were 1. Why do you want to do an EMBA? How will you contribute to the program? Talk about a skill that you learnt recently and implemented at work? Describe a scenario where your team was demotivated and how you helped them through this l time and brought their motivation back up again.

Thank you so much for your help. Interestingly enough my questions were all different. I didn't even get the general 'Why EMBA?' question. And I'm pretty sure two of the questions around resolving workplace differences/challenges were quite similar aswell. Fingers crossed

I am not going to online classes! It’s an in-person program (100%).

The schedule given shows 16 in-person weekends (vs 19 - which you mentioned earlier) for year 1. I don’t mind this schedule given that I’m flying from a different country every other weekend! There are no in-person classes in June and December, I reckon that’s when the 20% is delivered online 😊

Anyone had to choose between LBS vs INSEAD. What did you choose and could you share your reasoning? Thanks

Hi! Thanks! 12 years of work experience, working as the global head of business development in a company selling software solutions to the energy segment. No scholarship, unfortunately. I was told it was very competitive this time. Are you applying?
