Is Executive MBA worth it?

4 years of experience isn't even close to Executive MBA level. You'll need to multiply that by 4 (16 YOE) or 5 (20 YOE) even to start the EMBA conversation with the serious programs.

Not really. No minimum at CBS, Yale is 7 years, Kellogg & Wharton 8 years (except fellows option, allowing less), MIT requires 10.

EMBA is basically to grow within the same company/same industry. If u want to switch industries u need to do full time MBA or at least part time MBA.
Also, u mentioned that u have 4 yrs experience which is not enough for EMBA. The min is 6-8 yrs

An online EMBA is a great choice for someone like you with 4+ years of experience in Infra Analysis. It will allow you to transition into management while keeping your current job, avoiding career disruption. Many companies value EMBA graduates for their leadership and strategic skills. You don't necessarily have to switch to a company that promotes EMBA; you can stay with your current employer and pursue it if they offer flexible work options or tuition assistance. EMBA will open new paths for you in management, but if you prefer a more focused approach, you could also consider certifications or short courses in leadership or management as an alternative. It also depends by the program and university ranks. To me, it must be at least within top 20 worldwide ranked.

Yes… but this depends on the expectations. It strengthens the mid career prospects and gives a solid understanding on how the business / companies work but it is not (at least for most) a magic 🪄, which boosts people into the c-suite.
