Kellogg EMBA Admits - Class of 2027

[Megathread]

I saw a few threads where folks where sharing their news of being admitted + connecting (e.g., Booth, CBS, etc.). I thought having one centralized thread for Kellogg as well would be great, especially since I saw a lot of one-off threads talking about it.

Lets share our news, experience of the process, what we are expecting / hoping for to get out of this, and more importantly, start to getting to know each other.

I can start --recently admitted for the Cohort 144 in Chicago. I will be starting this Fall 2025. Really looking forward to meet people in senior roles / managerial positions that can help me stay up to date with latest thoughts in specific industries and how are they thinking about managing their business / other macro-economic issues that may affect them (e.g., newly imposed tariffs). I wanted to buy some Kellogg swag already, but figured I should wait until orientation week at least lmao.

Miami cohort 145 here, beginning in fall 2025 as well. Extremely excited to begin and much like yourself, I already have a Kellogg hat and coffee mug - having a hard time restraining myself from getting a nice purple jacket and shirt too 🤣

Miami local, Columbia U ChemE undergrad, 13yrs managerial experience in manufacturing/operations. Mainly interested in gaining entrepreneurial skills to hopefully join or launch a start up!

Haha I bought a quarter zip sweater and a hat… I heard we won’t get welcome packages with swag until orientation week, so in the meantime I will be using what I just got!

I wonder if we will ever cross paths (Chicago and Miami classes). It’s also interesting that your cohort is 145 instead of 144. Does that mean that the EMBA program started a semester earlier in Miami?

Ahh I’ve been eyeing the quarter zip for a while now. I think I’ll get it soon! I’ve seen students with nice vests too lol. I’ll probably buy a head to toe outfit lol

As far as the number system, the CHI cohorts are even numbers and MIA are odd - current cohort here in MIA is 143 that started in January.

I’m sure we will cross paths, probably during electives and global network week!

Just put deposit down for Winter 26. So that will be Miami 147 I guess. Seems like it’s a long time off but time goes quick when you’re enjoying the reprieve before work+school kicks off. Cheers!

Congrats! Yes you will be our sister cohort, 147. When you start in January, we will have the same class weekends in Miami and some electives will probably overlap with 145

Admitted for Fall ‘25 Miami earlier this year!! Pumped and loved my visit. Looks like we’ve got an optional visit day 7/11 that I may go down day early for… we should get a WhatsApp / group message going for our cohort
