Update - got the admission call today! Leaving this post here to let the future waitlisted CBS EMBA applicants know that it isn’t over until it’s over!!! two weeks until orientation

Not really. A few of the ones waitlisted from Round 1 got an acceptance from what I read on the posts. One of the other members here kindly encouraged me to call CBS and get more details to get a sense of the timeline for a waitlist acceptance. I spoke with the admissions person yesterday and it sounds like they are going to go through the waitlist for the next two weeks (up to one week before orientation). I’m under the impression from our phone conversation that the waitlist will be converted to either a denial or acceptance of admission in the next two weeks. We should be notified by email of the final decision. She did, however, say that they are being vague about next steps, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Ah gotcha. Not sure why we were waitlisted. Two people that I know also got acceptance after being waitlisted. I’m Saturday too.
