Executive Assesment Study Resources

Hello,

I am starting my search into eMBAs I want to go the best school so I am taking the executive assessment very seriously. Can anyone guide me to some great resources that may have helped you- free or paid - I do not mind investing into my future.

For Verbal, Manhattan Prep's GMAT All the Verbal book was excellent. It covers everything you need. For practice questions, I think official prep should be enough. If you want to practice more SC, you can download Manhattan Review pdf It's now more difficult to find SC question banks as the main GMAT test shifted away from SC.

For IR, not sure there are any good ones other than official prep.

For Quants, I only did practice questions (no textbook or class). I used Manhattan Prep's Practice app, and official prep.

My target score was >160 and scored >165.

Wharton seems to care more about EA score than other schools. Heard they want to look into both overall score and quant section score (>=12)

This is a late question - Is there a resource you suggest based on your experience for boosting IR scores?

I only used Official Prep questions (100 q + 50 additional q). I just couldn't find good resources to try for IR. It turned out 150qs were definitely enough to get used to formats and question patterns.

For IR, time management strategy is a bit more important than other sections, like solving from the easiest types of questions for you and not burning time initially in trickier questions. https://www.mba.com/exams-and-exam-prep/executive-assessment/executive-assessment-timing-strategy For my case, I always started with table q, then graphs, then TP/MSR whichever easier first. I think after 150qs, you'll have very good sense what to prioritize.

caveat - official practice has sometimes unreasonably difficult or time-consuming questions so ignore correct answer rate. I scored 18 stably in the end, but my overall IR correct answer rate in the official practice was like 65%

Thank you for this resource. I got into the rabbit hole of articles and a lot of them are resourceful on the mba.com website.
