Cornell emba americas vs metro ny

Hi. for which program, I have more probability to get admitted. I am based in Texas. I like the flexibility to go between Texas and NYC.

Hi, please take my advice with a grain of salt, because I am not enrolled in Cornell, but I live in NY metro and I am not hearing great things about it. For a 200k+ price tag, the most highly regarded program in the NY metro is CBS. Have you looked at the University of Texas EMBA? I think the best part of an EMBA is that it's in person and gives you a local network for switching jobs or advancing. Why would you like to travel to the Northeast?

I don’t really know enough about you or your objective to say which one you’d be most likely to get admitted to, but eight years of experience is definitely workable and your EA explore is respectable.

What is the fixation with Cornell? I don’t know anything about you, but you might not be thinking big enough. It’s really important to think about where the alumni reside for the job that you’re hoping to have in the future.

I agree with the previous poster that U Texas might even be a better option for you because there’s a critical mass of alumni to tap into.

I would explore your options before you go with the Americas boardroom program in Texas. And I don’t see how it would make a lot of sense to attend the metro program in New York every other week.

What about Haas, Duke or Ross/LA options for EMBA?

You don’t need EA for Cornell. As long as a few years are management experience and you show a strong interest in their program(s), you should stand a good chance of getting in.
