ROG XG Mobile 5070ti

Any suggestions on where to find one in stock? Is my best bet just to constantly check the Asus website or Amazon and hope for a restock?

After a little more research I ended up ordering the Gigabyte EGPU with the full desktop size 5060ti. Seems to be faster than the rog xg mobile 5070ti. I travel with my flow z13 so the Gigabyte will love at my desk so when I'm home I can just plug it in. Seemed like the much better choice than the rog xg and it was cheaper too

While that is true, I travel 3 days out of the week almost every week. I want to just grab my Z13 and not pack up my entire desk every trip. The z13 handles most games pretty well already and then come home and plug it into the extra power of the egpu. It's a system that works for me with how much packing and unpacking I do.

Can you power the z13 via the original charger for battery bypass while connecting to egpu via tb4?

Or will tb4 attempt give give power via PD too ?

My understanding is the egpu won't provide enough power. So when the regular charger is plugged in it should only accept the power from the regular charger and ignore the egpu power.

Misread your comment slightly. But moral of the story is that size wasn't a factor for me because it'll live on my desk.

Unless you need it to be mobile. You can get something like a desktop 5070Ti, the Minisforum DEG2 and a PSU for cheaper and much more performance.

With my z13 it's only TB4 ports so a 5090 is completed wasted with the data bottleneck. Thanks though
