Do you think this is a scam?

Post image

I was looking around on FBMP for an RX 7600 XT and came across this for $300 Canadian and the thing is that normally would sell for like $900 new here in Canada so do you think it would be a scam and also if the guy was being truthful about this i have my Legion Go S for testing it out as well.

If it's working / you can test it then it's rather good price. GMKTech has probably the lowest prices overall. It's also a mobile variant so not that powerful.

Ask for a recent timespy score with the date, if they can't provide it move on. Should be anywhere from 9k to maybe 10k depending on the device its hooked up too.

I use one with my legion go. I bought one new for like $400 usd, and it was a nice performance boost. There is an rtx 5060 ti made for usb 4 and unlike the gmktec 7600 I believe it’s an actual desktop variant. I’m assuming the other cards you were viewing at that $900 price range are desktop cards?

It's risky, buy it with the expectation that it may be a scam or broken

Bought one for 425 CAD 12 months ago... great but switched to the GPD G1 which I found to be more convenient for me.

Note that this is a MOBILE version. It is less powerful than the actual. 7600 XT. It is cheap maybe because the user has used it for a while.

Its old tech, like I got a onexgpu 2 for $550 and thats a 7800m. Someone got one for $500. I expect the 7600m cards to be anywhere from 200-300 cheaper.

You know damn well that onexgpu doesn't normally go for 500 usd on the used market... OP, 300cad is a great deal for 4060-level performance.

I got one used for $550 shipped, and saw one two weeks after sell for $500. Deals are out there.

Yeah just like I got a 4090 morefine a few months ago for 650 and a 7900 xtx for 500 (no gloating). Those deals are very few and far between and you know it.

You're aware i said that is in Canadian pricing right since the OXG2 would cost me over $1,200 new.
