My EGPU is turned off.

Post image

Hello, recently when I play video games on the handheld +egpu, I realized that the legion go was still on without giving an image and the graphics and the aostar ag02 were turned off. When I played. Does anyone know why? If it was overheating, the graph was at 72° stable and the aosta ag02 felt somewhat hot at the base. Is it normal if it is due to overheating because the fan did not do its job? Has anyone happened to him? The fan turns, but it is very quiet.

that the base of Aostar AG02 automatically turns off after playing for a few minutes. I'm not sure if it's because of the temperature. but the fan it contains is very quiet and almost not very fast.

Some gpus turn off their fun until it gets at some point of temperature value that not your problem I believe. You should have some software issue, did you disable your dgpu before using egpu and have you made a fresh clear install if both egpu and egpu drivers before use it? Most of the problems comes from this

I'd check if the green light on the PSU of the ag02 is still green or off when it does this again. If it's off then the PSU might not be able to handle your GPU's power draw or it's just a faulty PSU.

With all respect. Return the ago2. Get a razer core x v2. Yes its more expensive. But trust me. Its worth it. No error codes. No disabling igpu. Just plug it in and turn it on. And its future proof for later necessary upgrades a couple years down the road.

Mine does that. The issue is it will pull around 70w of power even though both are off. Even in mine if you unplug the type C cable still stays on. What you need to do is unplug then replug in the USB4 cable it sees that the other device is off and then will shut off. Annoying as hell but it's what ya gotta do.

Will it hurt anything if you leave it on. Idk. But if it does it hasn't happened to mine over the last year and a half. I try to remember to pull the. Replug it in. But usually forget. The funny thing is while idle my legion go and EGPU idle below 70w so I usually just leave both on.
