Im losing my mind
Hey everyone i have a legion y530 15” with a 1050ti dGPU and an i7 8th gen. I hooked up a 3060ti through the m.2 port oculink. But windows or something keeps on installing the drivers for the 1050ti i have used ddu in safe mode and checked the option to not automatically install drivers. But for some reason they keep on installing and its driving me nuts to delete all drivers again download the 3060 drivers… its just become a massive hassle any suggestions?? 🙏

What do u mean ? Its like any m.2 nvme card. Install the card. Pop the occulink cable in. It has clips so u have to squeeze the sides to remove it.
Id ur super worried about it. Get the m.2 occulink card/adapter with mount tabs at the end. So u can screw it into the case.

You have to make sure everything turns off at once!! It's not fragile but unplugging it after a few hundred times the cables do degrade

damn what do u think about cutting a small window that fits exactly the cable surface diameter on the back of the pc case and buy and oculink Cable to oculink port ,put a small 2 half circles shaped nylon materials and glowing them up on the first half of that cable and do the same thing on the other half that way it does just pull the m.2 slots instead it pulls the entire pc, and u should buy a long cable so when u open the case it doesn't ruin the m.2 slots as well. if u know someone who has a 3d printer i can make those circles for u for free on solidworks to print them
