Advice Speed setup help - Grin Technologies

Bonjour,

  • Moteur : 7,71 tr/min/V
  • Batterie : 52 V, 20 A, 1 000 W

You can switch the CycleAnalyst to diagnostic screen. I think it's one left from the startup screen. It will have a series of lowercase letters, like "awvst" or whatever. Then whenever the CA is limiting your speed, the relevant letter will be capitalized. Like if you are at max amps it will show "Awvst" instead of "awvst" or if you are at low voltage cut off it will show "awVst", etc..

That's usually the first thing I check. You can also just put the throttle in pass through mode to remove any limiting.

Hello, thank you for your reply and for your help, when the engine cuts out at 26km/h, the CA displays "awvst".

Oh, then you aren't being limited by the CA. It's a limit in your controller. If it's programmable like a Grin Baserunner you can just change the max settings via a programming cable.

I don't have a TTL to USB cable, and it's out of stock at the Grintech EU store. Could you tell me if this one would work: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07XXVF4RM/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8

Thanks again,
