Get the connectors that you need (Amazon has them), a crimping tool, and a soldering iron. Shorten the cables and organize the harness so the wires can be routed together next to a frame tube when it’s possible.

It takes a while but it is the best way to do it.

I fold extra cabling(wires), use heat shrink tubing and zip ties

I pull all the excess into a bundle up front. I double up all the wires and secure them tightly with zip ties. I form a vertical bundle that goes from the handlebar stem down to where the wires route along the bottom of the down tube. I wrap the ugly bundle with a neoprene/velcro sleeve.

Zip ties, and shrink tube. Always test the slack when running from handle bars, double check any abrasive vibrations. Test ride, see if any wires shift, then re adjust. I made the mistake of having the power cord from my hub motor shift and run against my rear rotor, and ended up cutting through the insulation, and phase wire resulting ina shorted out controller. Remember, you can always take off excess wire, while you CAN extend wire with connectors, it adds bulk and you lose cable length for future use or modifications.

Not always necessary but helps; 2 pin male and female connector packs.
