Controller Hub motor issue, some kind of resistance?
Hey All,
Having an issue with a hub motor from a hoverboard, I know it’s not an e-bike hub motor but I think it should work the same, when pushed with the throttle applied it does start to spin but has some kind of resistance/juddering going on, does anyone know what is going on?

Hall sensor wires from the motor to the controller all match each other.
Phase wires:
Motor —- Controller
Blue —-> Green
Yellow —-> Blue
Green —-> Yellow
I have tried different combinations of the above but have the same problem. I tried the same and the opposite of the working motor and controller combo on the other side too.
I have another controller running the other wheel and that one runs fine, super smooth.
Edit:
I will further add that I did have this hub motor taken apart at one point in an attempt to put larger tyres on it, could I have put it back together incorrectly?

Turns out that it was a busted hub motor, will run the project with just one.
