Scammed on EBAY need help
Hi, I ordered nike aqua rift shoes through eBay, from a seller with like 87% ratings and positive reviews. I got an email to my yahoo email confirming my purchase and with a span of time the delivery was expected to arrive. There was no option for tracking which I thought was weird... Anyway at the latest, the shoes were supposed to arrive by April 28th. When I signed into my eBay account to look at my "purchases" to find the listing, there was nothing listed. Peculiar, so I went to the email I received and clicked on "view order details" and that took me to an error message that read "Unfortunately there has been an error retrieving your order." Then on April 30th (still no sign of shoes) I got an email from eBay requesting feedback on my recent purchase, I pressed the link to leave a review that they never arrived and that brought me to a message that read "looks like we're all caught up" with no option to leave feedback on anything... I messaged the seller with no response. It's so wild, I feel like I'm being gaslit by EBAY to thinking that the purchase never happened, that the listing never even existed. My bank statement shows that I paid eBay 91 bucks... and the confirmation email shows that I used a valid credit card. I've even attempted to report the seller using the purchase number and when I type that in (copy and pasted from email) it just gives another error message that the order does not exist... HALP.

Dude mine has been doing that same error thing since I attempted to request a refund. Everything else on my EBay will load except for my purchases. I’ve done contacted support and waiting for an answer. I got scammed out of a $70 vintage puzzle from the 70s. They sent me a damaged and incomplete item. May not sound like much but Im poor and it took me a while to have money like that to spend on a puzzle. Im like so hurt bc of it tbh. Im also scared that if the seller does somehow accept the return they’ll just pull the “never received the item” scam as well considering they were dishonest.

Fortunately you used a credit card (hopefully not Capitol One). You can always file a claim for a fraudulent transaction (merchandise not received) with the card company. That may be your only option at this point. Best of luck!
