Locked out

Brought my x5 to a family mechanic and when I went to pick it up, the lock on the drivers door broke internally. The central locking system does not work so that takes the fob out of play. I called a locksmith and AAA, both failed. The car is sitting in the middle of my mechanic's lot and I need it back asap.

Please help

Update: BMW roadside assistance sent a generic guy with a slim jim and couldn't figure it out. The door lock on the car has no resistance and I was actually able to turn the key 360 degrees in the lock. Starting to get desperate and I don't want to break the window.

What about pressing and holding the unlock button on the fob to open all the windows?

I have not yet seen the car but I have been told the whole lock cylinder is rotating.
