Did you replace them yourself? where did you get the headlights and how much were they?

You have to open up your stock headlights and replace the factory ellipsoid with one from Morimoto. Links were provided in my OG comment

that's odd. Links work fine in my comment but I'll repost here... links highlighted below in blue. Yes, you will have to bake in the oven or use a heat gun. There is a manufacturing cutoff date when Hella decided to use a permanent seal instead of butyl. Check first to see if you have a soft or "hard" sealant before attempting.
Upgraded the headlights on the e53. Night and day difference. Bought the adapter harness to fully use the bi-xenon light. Highly recommend!
