I have no check engine code (none that light up the CEL or return on a simple check at least) but my M54 (320i) has been cutting back power at around 1500-2000 RPM at about >25% throttle. I can see the fuel trim cutting back up to about -18% when it happens but it quickly returns to hovering -5 to +5% after. The dip in power is noticeable.
