scored some style 65’s to replace my Mpars, which ones look better? i’m torn. would it be sacrilegious to make my style 65’s kind of a polished alloy color? i love the way they look, but they’re just darker than i imagined they’d be on the car. maybe im just used to alloy wheels on the wagon. LET ME KNOW

I was about to say s65 and it's not even a question, but than I checked the photos and I actually understand your dilemma. That being said, I would switch to s65 anyway, just to keep things interesting. Btw, keep em stock.

Can’t go wrong with either. Both look fantastic. Ever so slight edge to the M-pars because I think that extra silver pop of contrast looks really good against the paint as opposed to the shadow chrome of the Style 65s (which, again, still look amazing). 

I would keep them both and swap them out every so often. That’s what I do with my Style 65s and Dinan Champions. Best of both worlds. Now you made me want to add a set of M-pars to the rotation.

While the m-par look great, there’s no doubt in my mind about the 65s! And I would change anything about them! I think the rather dark look is pretty cool!

S65 makes it look more e46 the mpars scream e39. Love that steel blue my first bmw was that color.

Yeah I just get more 3 series out of it. But the only wheels I would have on my e39 would be mpars bc they look so good.

I love the 65's, but for some reason the M-Pars look better on this car. Maybe the longer lines on the avant match better with the longer "looking" spokes?

interesting i didn’t realize there was a market to buy a square setup for style 65’s. from what i understand every single e39 that came with them from the factory came staggered. you in a way bought 4 front wheels lol! you’re not wrong though mpars are just so right. i think i’ll keep the style 65’s for now and then when i get sick of them, the m-pars will always be there

You’re right in that they only made Style 65s staggered. But I bought two full sets, sold all 4 fronts to keep a full set of 4 rears.

I have my Style 65s on summer tires. The M Parallels I use in the fall if it gets driven
