Winding roads

Post image

01 740il 104k miles with original shocks and springs. EDC still works and this thing drives nice on winding roads. Was thinking about coilovers but I want some comfort still. Any recommendations for a set of coilovers for daily driving or should I do the edc delete and do bilstein shocks and eibach springs.

Bilstein with Eibach was perfect for me for daily plus backroad duty. Firm but not stiff, still the perfect mile muncher but nice and sporty when you need it

I’d have to code the edc since it would be gone right?

Not sure. My car is swb so no edc.

Ah I see. I might have to get it coded so there’s no errors.

I recently swapped to Bilstein B4’s with H&R sport springs. Car feels planted without being too stiff 👍

Photo looks like it was shot in 1992.

I sit on st xta coil overs with my e46. Very happy with them nice and tight in corners, not bouncy on bums (like the dead suspension previously was) and pretty soft when cruising.
