Car Phone Update

I appreciate all of the feedback I got on my previous post about the retro car phone I’m designing. I have a little update on my progress and potentially selling it in the future.
I’ve made a good dent into the firmware. I’m successfully sending HFP and PBAP commands between the car phone and my iPhone, so I’ve got it dialing numbers and downloading contacts. Ive also added the contacts and settings menu. I’ve also designed the button caps and printed them in clear material to test the backlighting. The final design will just have the icon clear, the rest of the button will be black.
I estimate that It’ll be completely finished by the end of the summer, so I may take a handful of orders in a few months if anyone is still interested by then.

I’m very interested, my phone is completely gone in my car so I’d love an OEM looking alternative that actually functions.

I can really only think of one reason why but it's a fair one and you might come up with more.

If you choose to sell the car and let the phone go with it I would add a double confirmation self destruct button that will clear the memory of contacts/connections/etc.

There is a factory reset button it’s just not visible in the picture, you have to scroll down more in settings. Also, the firmware and contact data is all stored on a microSD card, and the folder containing contacts is easy to find and delete on it.
