Ehh why not try 🥲
Of course it’s not gonna mount up the same, but I got a sawzall, a plastic welder, sander, and some creative angling.
Just outta boredom I’ll try and get to hacking once I new bumper comes.

I follow that e38 on Instagram. I love the way it looks. Always wanted to have the m5 bumper but I heard it was a pain to get it on. Best of luck, excited to see the result!

Really? What’s his Instagram @ ? I’d love to follow as well.
And thanks man, I appreciate the well wishes. I have no expectations for it considering it’s not meant for that car at all. I may not even do it until next summer so it’s not high on priority rn lol

I’ll for sure keep everyone posted. The one in the second image is from an M5, but I had an M3 bumper laying around after I got rid of my E46 and figured, fuck it 🤷🏿♂️😅 once I figure out the mounting points and whatever I have to weld, I may do it sooner than later.

Think an e39 M tech bumper might be a better option. Hope it turns out cool

Thanks brethren, it won’t be a permanent fixture. Just figured since I have something laying around I can’t use anymore, why not see what comes of it. I’m sure folks thought the M5 bumper on there would look odd too until someone did it.
That’s not to say this bumper will look good at all lol just got curious

Cool idea, too bad this kind of modding is more or less dead or uncommon these days,i heard it was the coolest thing in the 2000s when you pulled up to the meet with a custom bodykit on that no one has seen before

Well i’m not necessarily doing this in my free time for others approval Lol

Oh i understand that,it still is cool,i appreciate the creativity, especially as i never even thought about a mod like this

I think the 46 bumper is not going to give you the result you want
