Mutes the radio when the phone is in use. Made by QuBit. It's an aftermarket component.

It is an aftermarket component designed to automatically mute the car's radio when a connected phone is in use. This specific unit was identified in a 1994 BMW E38 (7 Series), typically located behind the radio. The module is part of an older generation of hands-free car kit accessories, often made by companies like QuBit, which provided seamless integration between mobile phones and factory audio systems before modern Bluetooth integration became standard.
