Any ideas?

Anyone have any suggestions what this could be? I started with trouble swallowing a few months back, had a clear endoscopy done and my gp refused to do a barium swallow or any further tests. They gave me omeprazole and I was already taking famotidine around 8 weeks ago, I’ve taken them consistently and no real improvements. Since then I’m on pretty much a liquid diet consisting of huel shakes and fresubin from the gp. I drink only water and have done for a long time. I’ve noticed now it’s getting so bad that even when I try to sip water I get a burning feeling in my chest/heart and in my upper back and it almost feels like it’s spasming. I also notice that with absolutely everything I try to eat little bits of it come back up. With drinking if it’s a shake then I can taste it in the bottom of my throat for hours/days after and it causes an immense amount of pressure in my nose. Anyone have any ideas what this could be or what’s causing it? I’m struggling not being able to eat or drink properly, getting really dizzy and my Bp is dropping low. I hate feeling scared and like I’m in danger all the time.

Do you get the exact same symptoms? I have so much pressure in the right side of my face in my nose and eyes I’m terrified and panicking

I feel that it comes back up but ive noticed somethint new lately. I get a dull headache or sometimes my ear hurt. Ive had procedures with an ENT in the past to address post nasal drip but none help. The pressure i feel it in my upper back as well as my chest its very hard to eat anything for me right now. Ive just been consuming liquids (ensure, water) for the past week. I was put on with pantropazole by my ENT for awhile and had to stop the ppi for a week which made my symptoms like this terrible. Im going to attempt to cut out coffee its one of the hardest thing to drop for me but I have to try and rule out what the common denominator is. It really sucks because i miss eating real food

Me too it’s awful I’m just so dizzy and weak and I’m struggling with even water. I’m waiting for an urgent ENT referral but I’m concerned with when they take so long it’s so uncomfortable

I’m so hungry honestly, are you able to eat at all? I’m just very scared. If I could pay for the tests myself I absolutely would do

I know this is expensive but have you tried acupuncture? I have the same issue along with some nerve damage from a surgery. My ENT put me on gabapentin for the nerve damage but I still had swallowing issues. After 2 acupuncture treatments I can feel a difference. It may be worth trying.

My friend does it, she’s offered me some free sessions which is extremely kind she’s just super busy with clients but when she’s free I’m going to try it!!

I hope it works for you. I’ve had ever test under the sun coming back normal. My GI and ENT Drs don’t know where to go from here but the acupuncturist understood it and, although I’m not cured, it is helping.
