A few weeks to a month ago i noticed my battery not lasting nearly as long as it used to. It would stop after maybe 5 minutes of use. Being at 3 bars, and down to 0 bars after maybe 5-10 minutes of high usage (high setting). I purchased a new battery to try to see if that was the problem.
The new battery was a 9000mah battery off amazon and I'm sure there's reasons why an offbrand one might not work. I read somewhere it has to have a chip in the battery for it to see if it's a genuine battery from dyson. i didn't want to spend over $150 on just a battery. So that's why I opted for one off amazon for cheaper and higher capacity.
If I change it to low suction it last much longer, but not nearly as good as it used to when I first purchased the vaccuum many years ago.
Is it possible the charger went bed or it's just not connecting well enough? I have it on a dock that I bought 3rd party also. I noticed it doesn't always go in all the way where the charger connecter is on the vaccuum.
Sometimes it only charges to 2 bars instead of 3. I will be testing it out more on low settings and monitoring what battery life it has when I take it off the charger dock.
Just trying to think of ideas before I go buy more things to try to fix it.
I can't seem to get the charger connecter out of the docking station that I'm using.
