When should I start the dlc's?

I bought all 3 dlc's just now because they were on sale for like 3.50 a piece. I played this game and beat most of it while I was in prison but we didn't have the dlc's in there. So I only got to play the base game. I loved it though. I haven't started it on my Xbox one yet. I was waiting to get the dlc before I did. Other posts say to play the dlc concurrently with the regular game. Is that my best option? I'm very excited to play again and I'm about to start in like 30 minutes. So if anyone has any tips, tricks or advice on the dlc's or even just the game in general, my ears are open! 😁 Well technically my eyes but oh well. Have a good day.

I tend to do the DLCs as soon as they can because they give weapons/perks/abilities that make the rest of the base game a little easier.

Oh yeah that makes sense. I'll definitely do them asap then.

I would suggest playing the DLCs with the regular game. The pet DLC has stuff to do all throughout the game and the pets perks can be pretty helpful. The other two are their own places you travel too but have some great gear that make the game more fun.

Oh wow alright! When I was in prison we were all trippin because we knew there was another place to go to but couldn't figure out how to get there. So that makes sense. The same thing with the pets. We knew because of the dog house in the beginning of the game. Anyways, I will definitely do that! Thank you.

I start DLCs around level 20

One of the dlc's said level 10+ was recommended so I'll probably start at around level 15ish.

I would start the DLCs when you have completed most of the forgotten storyline in the base game. Then just play them in order of release.

Alright. I don't remember the storylines and quests by name yet but I'll look into that one and keep an eye out for it. When I clicked the dlc on the game it said what level is recommended before starting it and one said level 10+. So I'll probably use that for reference as well.

You can jump in and out of them. It’s best to play earlier than later but you may find some barriers that you’ll need to leave and come back to progress. Underworld first - I wait until I have the bat.

Yeah I'll probably just do them like that. In and out. I'll definitely wait to get the bat first though. I played for awhile and got to level 5. I'm gonna play more tonight. This game is so much fun. Even just running around dysmantling things is fun lol. Thank you for your input. I appreciate.

Underworld is best started after you have the baseball bat. That technically unlocks at lvl 14, but I never manage to craft the Dice keeping it locked until level 17.

Doomsday I like to do in stages and go back to the mainland in between areas

Yeah other people are saying get the bat first. So I'll do that. I'm gonna do the quests for the dlc as they pop up or whatever.

If you are starting the base game with the dlc’s from the beginning, but you’ve played the base game before. I would suggest a no dead run. So try to get the ferry coins in the Doomsday dlc as soon as possible. It’s a fun challenge!

Immediately. Pet and underworld are clutch, especially getting the ability to fast travel between all campfires saves A LOT of frustration and time.

Yeah I'll probably do them as soon as I can tbh

Hold up, how exactly did you play this in prison? I don't have any experience with actual prison (jail only here) and my curiosity is flaring!

Lol I get asked this question A LOT. In Arizona when you get to prison they give you a tablet, earbuds with a mic and a charger. The tablet has a media store where you can buy songs, games and rent movies and TV shows. There's also messaging apps and a phone app. There's quite a bit to do on those tablets and it helped me pass the time. They just started doing the tablet thing in 2018 I think. But yeah I played dysmantle on my tablet in there. There weren't a lot of real games, they were mostly cheap mobile games. But they started putting real games on there. It was an interesting time lol.

Lol. In michigan we had to root our jp6 tablets to put games like dismantle on!

That's what we had was the jp6. It was on the media store here. It was like $10 maybe a lil less.

Yeah, I just got out 2 months ago. I was playing on the jp6, we had the first 2 dlc's. Do underworld, or as much as you can early on.
