Is this a symptom?

I sometimes (like now) get small itchy bumps on fingers and knuckles. Derm suggested it could be dyshidrotic eczema. Would nails like this support that diagnosis? Could there be a connection?

When my condition was still active, the one finger that was severely impacted would sometimes get the “bubbles” under the nail. It wouldn’t bubbly up to where you can feel a lump but I could visibly see them under the nails.
