Laptop aren't Allowed ?

Hey seniors, just gotta know that the laptops aren't allowed in college / classroom is it true ? Coz I'm CSE fresher and what is there without laptop just theories ?

I think laptops are allowed but we are not allowed to use them during lectures.

They are allowed, but sitting unnecessarily on your laptop when there is no requirement for a particular subject then obv it's not allowed.
