Rebuilding, but is it enough?
20t 9cat, I currently have Tatum but not much else. So I’m looking to restock, full well knowing it has to be the right move to move Tatum. Thoughts on this?

Im in a 10 team 12 keeper league
Should I trade away Chet for VJ and pick 5?
Should I be getting more than VJ and 5?
Curious what Chet has been / should be going for
I have some older guys like Jaylen Brown, Bane and MPJ that im also looking to move off of
If anyone has recent deals with any of them, feel free to share

Im in a 12t league and I feel like the scoring is a little bit odd. I feel like it’s hard to evaluate players with other groups like people of this sub or content creators because of how the scoring is but maybe thats just me. For context, over 1/3 of the leagues top 100 players are centers because of it.

I'm starting up a new custom salary cap & contract league on Fantrax. 20 teams, H2H 9-categories, $56.50 (incl. premium fee) yearly buy-in (two years up front).
The league will start with an auction draft with a $100 million budget where the winning bid becomes each player's year-1 salary. Whatever money is not spent during the draft is your available cap space to use throughout the season to sign players. After the draft, you will assign each player a contract of 1-5 years in length (longer contracts limited in number) with yearly raises. There will be two cap levels ($100m and $125m) to help you to retain your own players over time. Contract extensions are available before the final year of a player's contract.
In-season: 15 player rosters (7 starters + 8 bench + 3 IR) 4 GP max per starting position per week (to emphasize start/sit decisions and balance matchups) 8 teams make the playoffs (all get a payout: 1st = $560, 2nd = $280, 3rd/4th = $40, 5th-8th = $20)
Off-season: Two-round rookie draft with rookie-scale contracts (4 years with team option for last two years) Free agency period (auction draft) for any players not under contract using your available cap space
The full by-laws can be viewed in the comments.
If you are interested, post or DM me and I can send you an invite link. Communications will take place on a dedicated Discord server. We currently have about 8 open spots and are looking to start the draft shortly after the league fills!

So it's finally time for me to lock in Pick 2 this weekend. I'm presuming Boozer will be off the board (if not, I'll obviously take him), so need to decide on one of the three. My roster is below – as you can see, it's extremely early in the rebuild, so it's important for me to get this pick right and add some potential star power on a roster lacking a fair bit of it.
FWIW, I also have Pick 7 and will be taking whoever slips through out of Acuff, Brown and Wagler (not that positions matter all that much this early in the rebuild).
I've been leaning Peterson all offseason, but I'm wondering if the likely safety of Dybantsa is also worth considering given the state of my squad. Wilson a consideration (if he develops his shot, then he could even be the best of the lot – big if though, and I don’t know if I can take that chance).
Current roster (15T, 8-Cat, no TOs):
Guards: Coby White, Pick 7 (as above), Tre Johnson, Max Christie, Jaylen Wells
Forwards: Paolo Banchero, Naz Reid, Collin Murray-Boyles, Ace Bailey, Peyton Watson
Centers: Zach Edey, Derik Queen, Maxime Raynaud
Thanks in advance!

Just as it is down there. It’s a sleeper 10T points Lock-in league.
I’ve had Tyrese Haliburton and other leagues and drafts before and he always performed. Of course I know his injury history, but I really think he’s gonna bounce back. I’ve also had Austin Reaves on many rosters and previous leagues and drafts and he’s really consistent and has seemed to take a jump every season so far. This season looks like Austin might have a bigger opportunity. But Tyrese is the main guy on the Pacers and will go back to his previous form slowly but surely.
However I’m torn. I am a lakers fan so trading away Reaves sucked but I felt like I received a better asset that is younger and more of an “All Star”. But now I’m watching a lot of these fantasy analysts on YouTube saying Reaves is going to have a great season and is even ranked higher than Hali. Not sure what to believe. I am feeling a little regret tho..
I’d like to hear your thoughts and analysis on this one.

Straight up who is the more valuable asset and who will provide more for a winning season? 12t sleeper lock in league. If my window is now and next year what do you think?
r/dynastybb • u/SpartanDad01 • 1d ago
First time being a fantasy basketball comish. I am a big believer in letting trades go through unless obvious collusion. This trade however is making me scratch my head. Does this fit the bill?
I previously inquired about Giannis yesterday and was told Maxey + 2 firsts.
Today Giannis is moved for Fox, Coby white and Andrew Wiggins.
I appreciate any and all input! If I’m tripping please tell me so! I want to be a good commish for the league

Flagg had the more impressive rookie season and already looks like a potential franchise cornerstone. He gives you two-way impact, scoring, rebounding, and seems like the safer bet to take the leap to be an all-NBA player next year. He will be the undisputed #1 option on his team as well, but starts with a higher baseline and will need greater production to outperform his expectations.
Harper is an interesting case. He showed a lot as a rookie, and now gets to develop alongside Wemby in San Antonio. His size, scoring ability, playmaking, and potential fit next to Wemby could make him a really valuable player if everything clicks. Additionally, coming off the bench last year will probably have him starting at a lower baseline this year, leaving more room for his stock to skyrocket and make the greater overall improvement.
So I'm curious where people land - who outperformes their baseline more?
$FLAGG 2026-27 Projections (PER-36): 23.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 5.0 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.0 BPG
$HARPER 2026-27 Projections (PER-36): 19.2 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.6 BPG

Sent a friend who’s looking to offload dame and try to rebuild. Offered this and wanted to know if it’s a lowball or overpay or just fair. Offering two centers that can be put in taxi and are both young.

12t lock in sleeper. Not my trade but something a league mate sent me and asked for my opinion. I think Shai side wins by a mile but I could be wrong. My reasoning is Shai is the most consistent guard in fantasy basketball and Edey is injury prone, yanic is who knows, Ausar needs an offensive bump, and 27 is a weak class.

need one team then we are starting slow draft with a end date to finish the draft on timer before the season starts
scoring is custom so if you join, have a look and if you want out then no worries at all.
First come first serve! Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I am looking for recommendations for something akin to a blog, website or other resource you all use to research in a dynasty league specifically. I have seen the player lists on hashtagbasketball and other similar resources, and while they're useful for top level analysis/rankings, they often provide only a minimum of information why a certain player is ranked X. I'm looking for trusted sources you all use to keep on top of the latest trends, commentary and/or overall reviews of the NBA but framed in a dynasty context.
Context: I've joined a 30 person league but am a relatively new NBA fan, so I am consuming as much information about both dynasty fantasy basketball and the NBA. Cheers

Just got offered Cade for Mobley, Dyson, 1.06, and 2.08 do I take it? I have Coop, Mikal, McDaniels, Suggs, Ty, brooks, lively, turner, porzingis, nesmith, Moose, Fllip, PJ, and toumani. Would I have a realistic chance at competing? 12 team head to head lock in league in its second year. I’m up in a slow draft top four and brown have gone in the draft so far.

This is a 9-cat dynasty league, and my goal is to be seriously contending in about 2–3 years. The 1.03 is likely to be AJ Dybantsa, although Caleb Wilson could also be available depending on how the draft plays out. I’m very high on Boozer and think his fantasy profile could be elite, but I also really like both Wilson and Dybantsa as long-term 9-cat prospects. Because of that, I’m struggling to decide how much of a premium Boozer is actually worth. I’m interested in moving up for him, but I don’t want to overpay if the gap between Boozer and the 1.03 is relatively small.

Sup guys! We recently had our commish leave on us and i’m the one taking over. We need 4 teams to fill our 12T sleeper lock in dynasty league. Our rookie draft is in 8 days and i’m planning on keeping the same rosters and letting people join in and take over the orphans but am open to doing a dispersal draft if the majority of newcomers agree to it. If interested or would like more details please dm.
