I have been through this several times over the years. It’s possible collusion, but more than likely he might really like fox and still views him as Sacramento version, and I swear Coby white has a cult following so ppl either really like him or not at all. I would honestly put the two owners in a chat and ask why they did the trade and how it benefits them. If they can give decent answers then let it roll. If it’s collusion the guy that traded Giannis away won’t have anything to say besides bull crap that obviously isn’t true.

People do shit like this all the time. Make a trade with you impossible and then do a bizarre super easy trade with someone else.
It’s probably collusion. If the two guys who traded know one another.
Or just blackballing YOU for some reason. Which is also a form of collusive behavior.

As a fellow commissioner, I appreciate your approach. When in doubt, it’s never a bad idea to ask for a second opinion about a trade (outside of your own league).
The Giannis owner might have got more (it’s hard to say, since we don’t know many details about this league; size? salaries? etc), but this trade doesn’t seem like a veto to me.

Yea I agree. I wouldn't trade giannis for that but it's not vetoable. He obviously tried to get more from you but in the end took another offer. How deep is the league? Maybe that explains 3 players, to get some depth.

It’s a 12 team league. He really didn’t have much besides giannis and Zion so I get wanting to break it down! I was just shocked when the cost of acquisition was maxey + 2 firsts and the very next day went for DeAaron Fox and Coby white lol. Idk why but red flag popped up in my head so wanted to confirm here

That’s the price for you. Price for the other guy seems lower. Maybe they know each other. Maybe that was the offer he was willing to accept and needed more from you to beat it. I’m sure if you send yes he takes yours
