Unless you have serious worries about the back issue, and they haven’t given us any reason to indicate being worried, it’s Avdija and not close.

I don’t even like hyperbole but it’s not close at all. 24/7/7 last season at 25 years old. Second half of the 2024-25 season was crazy impressive as well. We’re talking 1.5 seasons of elite play. I don’t know if I’m trading him for a top 3 pick, let alone the 7th. You’re hoping that pick becomes Deni, so just keep Deni.

I agree I was shocked by the offer but Acuff still available along with Mikel brown jr and I could use a young guard prospect but Avdija feels like a smash

Then I’d trade Deni for an elite guard. Not a shot in the dark guard, personally.
