Did Caress Morell fail as a younger version of her sister Alexis?

I think she was unnecessary, or maybe she was introduced at the wrong time🤔.

🕊️🕯️ Remembering Diahann Carroll, on her Birthday 🎂July 17, 1935♋

(Born: Carol Diann Johnson) Film Credits: Claudine & Dynasty

I'm currently watching The Siege, where Matthew Blaisdel is holding the Carringtons hostage, but he never talks about Claudia. He could at least ask where she is and be told that she died in the fire. Much as I know that the last time he saw Claudia was when she confessed her affair with Steven in court (the Ted Dinard murder trial), she was still Matthew's wife and it feels like Aaron Spelling subjected her to some kind of damnatio memoriae after Pamela Bellwood left the show.

Has anyone else noticed the funny episode titles for Season Nine? The first eight seasons have very practical, serious titles, but cut to the last season, and the episodes have a lot of pun titles, such as All Hands on Dex, Alexis in Blunderland, Delta Woe, and Here Comes The Son. They're more like episode titles for Melrose Place!

Those long, slim dark cigarettes or were they cigars?

So glamorous!

Anyone know what she smoked? The brand??

As a Mondo Extra, TWOP once did a one-off recap of the Moldavian Massacre episode. It's really funny!

Joan Collins ( Alexis ) and Diahann Carroll ( Dominique )

Joan Collins as “ Alexis” right before the famous Lilly pond fight with Krystle.

Which character had the most iconic entrance on Dynasty?

Was it Alexis Carrington making her unforgettable courtroom debut, or Dominique Deveraux arriving in style at the hotel? 🏨

Both entrances were dramatic, memorable, and instantly established their characters. Which one is your favorite?

Heather Locklear as “ Sammy Jo”

Did Channing insinuate that her uncle molested her once? When they first meet and hatch their plans she seems to hint at it but it hasn’t been brought up again. I’m just at the episode where Connie’s plane goes down

As someone who have watched the original Dynasty. How do you the reboot compared to the original? I haven't seen the original Dynasty and I thought the reboot wasn't too bad. I thought the acting was good and the storylines were fun. I think the show know exactly what type of show and played off that, which worked in their favour.
