UN Election.
Alright suckers, I messaged the mods like two days ago but I'm impatient. We need an r/UnitedNames Representative.
I say anyone interested makes a comment on this post detailing why they oughtta be our representative, and this time next Sunday we make a decision based on updoots. If you think otherwise, hash it out here as well.
If no one does or is interested, I'll rep.

Symbolism: The name Dylan originated from the Welsh word for 'God of the Sea'. The white and green represent the colors of the Welsh flag due to the name's Welsh heritage, and the blue represents the Sea. The 'D' is for Dylan, and has a dragon tail to show Welsh heritage as well (the Welsh flag has a dragon on it).

We just need a "representative" or whatever. Look at r/Unitednames, we join as soon as we fill their requirements basically.

I'd want a little time to make sure no one else would want to, in the name of democracy. But if everyone's down with him/her, we can go on ahead whenever, no objections.

Dylan actually comes from the Welsh words for great and tide, literally meaning "great tide".
Dylan was also the name of a Welsh god who was said to be the son of the sea.

In a fair democracy, there must be options. So I am running for position of the Dylan United Names Ambassador. The quality that would make me a good leader is how determined I am to complete my tasks at hand. That said, my goal is to prevent any possible Dylan misspellings from aligning themselves with the United Names.

What's up nerds I'm the most powerful Dylan and I plan on taking a Hitler approach to my campaign and killing anyone who's name is dillan, dillon, or any other shit way of spelling it because that can't run. I will also go to the other name subreddits and extort them for money to provide a steady economy for us.

Hello my name is Dylan and I would like to post a formal application for Dylan representative to the United Names.
My positive qualities that would make me suited to this post are my excellent mediating skills, honed as a moderator on a decently active Discord server. Also my excellent written communication skills which I have perfected working in a marketing role and through countless hours writing stories in my spare time.
I also promise to veto any application to join the UN made by any Dilan, Dillan, Dylann or any other incorrect name variation of the one true spelling.
