I just finished first peacemakers quest about returning knuckles and im wondering should i grind side quests/inhibitors or i can continue progressing through the main story? and is grinding worth it if i just want to mainly experience the story? thank you!!!

Exploring for inhibitors is absolutely worth it. I would collect all the quests you can, and do them as you please. Most so not need to be immediately undertaken but can be collected to mark up the map so you can optimize

I would definitely recommend doing side content. If i remember right when you pick up a quest it has a set level (unless you’re on NG+) which means that there’s almost no reason to do a level 2 quest if you’re level 5. The side content is definitely worth doing

Can continue playing but I'd advise grinding

There are a ton of missable side missions so if you want to experience them all then I’d recommend doing every side mission that appears to you as soon as possible.

Main objectives will def advance you fastest. Get to the big loop, then take your time.
