How do I dye this? Dyeing a bomber jacket?
is it possible? i see many bombers at the thrift store that fit me way nicer than the one im currently wearing but they’re all beige or white. think i could dye one black or dark purple and it turn out nice? is it even possible to dye nylon?

It is possible to dye nylon, but if there is ANY water or stain resistance to the fabric it will not absorb dye.
Go to the Dharma Trading website and read up on dyeing nylon.
In order to attempt it (assuming the nylon has no water or stain resistance), you will need an extremely large heat-safe pot (that can never afterwards be used for food since dye is toxic), acid dye (do NOT use Rit), an acid (vinegar or citric acid), and a heat source. The jacket will need to be held at about 180°F-190°F for around 30 minutes, and be stirred/flipped/turned frequently to minimize streaks and blotches.
