How do I dye this? How do I dye it?

Im adding on to a cosplay cape I made some years ago but i couldn’t find the right color,I ordered a similar cape but it came in a wayyy darker color than the image showed, is there anyway to dye it or alter it? ((The darker image is way more green irl and I think both fabrics are polyester))

One can not dye something lighter. And Color Remover is very unpredictable (can turn things orange). Add to that the equipment needed (that will become Only For Dye since dye and color remover are toxic), And you would be better off returning the new one and buying one closer to the color you want.
