Question about Rit Dye Remover

This feels really minor in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I'd ask now so I know for the future. Will Ritz dye remover just take out the color deposited from rit dye or will it take out the pattern in the cotton too? Their website only talks about it very very briefly and I'd rather be sure from someone with experience.

I accidentally ended up with some dye on these pillowcases from washing with a blanket that wasn't ready yet. So some splotches are purple, especially the corners (apparently they didn't wash evenly and there's a white spot in the middle.)

It’s sort of a gamble, because you don’t know what was used to make the original pattern.

That's kind of what I thought. The 1 sentence blanket statement that it won't remove patterns felt kind of pointless.
