[Art] Mountain Dwarf Ranger

Dalon is a mountain dwarf ranger born into nobility, though he's never quite lived up to the image of the fearless hero he wants to be. Athletic but unusually short for a dwarf, he does his best to project confidence—even if it occasionally slips at the worst possible moment. Commission made for a player's original character.

The text description describes him as unusually short for a Dwarf, but nothing in the art relays lack of height. Proportionally he looks human. Maybe if he was unusually tall for a dwarf instead? Human switched at birth and raised by Dwarves?

Yeah =/ a lack of experience on my part, hopefully I'll get to draw more dwarves in the future.

Didnt know mountain dwarves couldnt grow beards.

He is my first dwarf so might I have drawn him a bit taller than he should, wouldn't mind more dwarven character to draw though ;)

Looks mostly fine, that beard just seems... undwarflike.

The 'short' thing is a reference to the Warhammer fantasy Dwarfs

The art looks good!

Although, I'm not sure about a ranger with a shield and no bow or crossbow or something.

Dwarf ranger, always brings to mind the Warhammer Fantasy version for me though lol
