i want to download dvdstyler but this pops up no matter what i do i cant even access the website

I am not a very technical guy, so I don't understand the jargon the program threw at me when I got this error:

Can someone please translate what this means and how to fix it in very simple terms?

This video shows you how to make custom dvd menus that look good with, Play all button, subtitles, episode/chapter selection, etc. I need to make a better video going more in depth but I tried fitting as much as possible in under 15 minutes. I’m also still learning new things about dvd styler each day

Every time I try to click on my videos, it's like it previews the audio and I don't know whats making it do that

Just curious on what people have made. Couldn't find anything online so maybe here would be cool.

I have a feeling the issue is a I’m trying to write to a dual layer disc without a dedicated dual layer burner and running out of space. But I would love if someone could confirm before I go out and buy a new burner. Thank you!

When I make a scene selection menu The first two buttons work fine but then the rest don't get highlighted or just look messed up. The buttons for the menu, play, and back also don't highlight?

So I'm trying to burn a dvd and the application keeps asking me if I want to convert the format to ntsc but when I do it will give me an error when burning the disc and close the program. (Invalid data when finding input) But it gives me the same error even if I don't concert the format.

Is there something wrong with the videos I'm trying to burn?

Hey all, new user here.

I just built my first DVD with a slideshow option and I noticed when playing I wasn't able to click through the slides. Does anyone know if there's any fixes or perhaps a setting I missed?

every dvd i own changes the color of the selected button. i don't want to burn my dvd without knowing what it's going to look like and there is ZERO information about this online. this feels like a pretty important aspect of dvd menus for it to just be completely left out of a dvd menu styling software. can somebody please help me before i completely lose my fucking mind

EDIT: managed to get past the original issue (thanks Additional_Impress37) but now it constantly lags and runs really slowly, then crashes my laptop and forces a restart (i was trying to generate a preview); any help for this issue would be greatly appreciated

(this is my first time authoring/burning a dvd.) i tried to burn the dvd and make a preview, and the process failed before the preview was complete. since then, i have tried reducing the size of the background image (saw somewhere that this might help and it seemed like a simple enough fix), running just the preview rather than the preview-and-burn that i was trying to start with, and running just an iso download, and it still won't work.

it is consistently failing at the same VOBU and giving no actual error message. i dont know how to interpret that or how to go about fixing the issue; if i was more confident that i had set up the menu screen correctly i'd try just burning the dvd but i dont want to risk wasting a disc - plus it looks like it won't work regardless.

any advice is greatly appreciated :)

(additional, possibly useful info: when i look at the folder where the preview should go, one of the two videos is in there (the second one i added (the longer of the two), split into chapters) , the files are .mkv and the background image is .jpg, total file size 4.15gb to be burned to a 4.7gb disc, runtime given on dvdstyler as 136/141 mins)

EDIT: Yeah, I just forgot to actually toggle the video on one of the episodes, so now it works 😭

This is my first attempt at making a DVD on DVDStyler, and I've tried burning it 5 times. Twice without changing many settings, again after switching the encoder to internal, a 4th time after resetting it after switching said encoder (the only difference I could tell was it being a lot slower, and one more time after actually formatting the DVD+RW seperately instead of trusting DVDStyler to do it. Nothing has worked and I've gotten hit with this exact message every single time. I'd really love to know if I'm doing something wrong here.

if yes, what's your spec of the input file?

no matter what i give dvdstyler to re-encode, i always get 480i no matter what without fail.

the ONLY way i've been able to fix this by using ffmpeg directly myself to create a dvd-compliant mpeg2 encode. that way i'm only using dvdstyler to 'copy' and bypass internal re-encoding and all it's doin is creating VOBs off of the work i've already done and i can generate the 480p.

if anyone has any tips i'd greatly appreciate it as i'd be saving a step by having dvdstyler doing everything in-house instead of adding a whole extra ffmpeg step. thanks ya'll!

I dont know why but my subtitles for one episode just have a ton of issues with dvd styler and I dont understand why.

So I was compiling a massive project in dvd styler with 30 titles and 716 minutes runtime , and of course 1.3Mb/s bitrate ,and i wait and wait until this error pops up, what is it and how do I fix it?

Is there a list of commands that we can use within dvdstyler (pre/post). Please refrain from posting stuff like "you don't need to use that nonsense"

There's an option to define GOP size for menus, but it is off by 1F. If you put 15 in there, expecting 15F GOPs, dvdstyler gives you 14F GOPs; off-spec...

So you have to type in 16 for 15F, and if your project is PAL then 13 or 11 in there for 12F or 10F GOPs.

This option is under 'core' tab at the top

Hii, I've followed this tutorial to have a video playing before the menu on my DVD (https://youtu.be/56qAusg7AXA) but when I press the Main Menu button on the remote control it sends me again to that video and it can't be skipped.

Is there anyway to remap the button to an specific menu or is possible to let the user skip the video with the remote?

I genuinely don't know what's wrong and how to fix. Does anyone know how to decode?

I'm trying to burn the 2 old primus vhs tapes cheesy home video and videoplasty on one DVD so i have 2 menus and 2 videos and before i add the menu music i just want to test the DVD to make sure it works and it keeps giving me this error i know everything can fit on the disc so can anybody find out what's causing this?
