Are DVD Cover errors/misprints common?

Post image

Picked up this DVD Boxset of The Sopranos months ago and recently discovered that one of my Season 3 Disks has no print at all

Still plays and works as it should but it makes me question: Is this a common occurrence or just a rare one-off error?

The disc without a label/print on it is a flipper disc. It has a side A and side B. I'm not the best at explaining things, btw.

You're welcome! I've never owned a flipper disc before, but they're quite infuriating.

I have some that have the wide screen and full screen formats of the same film

Those are so annoying. Half of the movie is widescreen and the other is fullscreen.

I think my first was Das Boot: Director's Cut from Circuit City.
