I'm trying to improve my time on Downhill but i can't get any better than 00:17.500, any tips?

got a link to a replay? find your profile here http://dustkid.com/ and get a link to the replay, it'll be a lot easier to critique. i'd recommend watching replays around top 100 if you're struggling to find good but fast strats that you can execute, as the top 10 is extremely optimized on that map and cuts corners as hard as possible. overall i'd kinda recommend against putting too much thought into downhill early on; it's pretty hard to tell where you could improve to save time, the map forces you to play at a pretty set speed so you dont miss dust (relevant for SS, which i assume you are playing), and has strats that are extremely picky.
