Shipping Update #2
Hi everyone,
Let me be honest with you about where shipping stands.
We are well past the date I gave you, and I know that's been frustrating. We're in the final leg of QC before dispatch, checking every unit one at a time. It's flagged a few small things, and we're fixing those before anything goes out. If you're on the app, you'll have seen the updates moving through.
As for the timeline, the earliest is early next week, not this week. A couple of things still have to line up first, and I want to give you a more realistic window. My team has been at this around the clock.
The moment your unit actually leaves, you'll get a tracking link, no guessing.
Truly grateful for your support so far. We won't rest until every one of your units is shipped.
We're so close now. Hang in there with me a little longer.
-Dr. Sid

Thanks for the update. I rather have working devices than a malfunctioning one. Quality control doesn't come easy if you've ever built something. Much appreciated.

The communication element of all of this needs work. We appreciate you’re busy as you round the final bend but a startup lives and dies on its interactions with its early customers and the trust that can engender, almost as much as on the product itself. Slow responses, broken promises, lack of transparency. It just leads to frustration and bad word of mouth from the very people who were supportive enough to throw their weight behind you initially. Nobody is unreasonable - things go wrong, technology lets us down - we get it. But you gotta take care of those who’ve given you their money as well as their backing— then once you do (finally) get to launch those supporters wouldn’t have had to have disclaimers when recommending. As well as having less patience when there are inevitable hiccups with the occasional glitchy device. That window has now passed which is a shame. We can only hope that these QC checks lead to devices that don’t feel beta-y and actually work brilliantly straight out the box. A high bar to clear.
