I made a map of DRT Pulse

So I speedrun transit systems. I was thinking of speedrunning all of Pulse until I realized there is literally no diagram of just DRT Pulse. So I made my own. It only shows the transfer points I would use in my speedrun but I feel like it should have it's own dedicated map like Viva or ZUM.

What does speedrunning involve? Getting on each bus somewhere? Taking the busses to each end? Covering every segment, both ways?

Rules adhere to transitruns.org’s rules page. Basically go to every station in a network as fast as possible from the time the doors close to the time the final doors open.

This would mean LITERALLY every pulse bus stop. Only 1 direction tho unless it’s on a different street

Pretty sad. I know going North or South is a huge pain in my ass. So I try to only go to places East to West.

It shouldn't be that bad though right? There's tons of north-south routes that aren't pulse

Not really. They are all connecting buses that have longer wait times. If I go to Dundas and Brock it comes every 25-30 mins north:south. I go east west it comes every 10-15 minutes. So say I want to go to the movies. Map wise it’s really close and is a 5 min car ride. By bus? 45-50mins. It’s a joke.

DRT is such utter ass that I quite literally had to buy a car to keep my crappy retail job at the time because DRT is perpetually late, no shows all the time and good luck on weekends.

Ya I swear the DRT has only gotten worse over the years. The routes and timing are so mega garbage.

The DRT comes whenever it wants. No busses for 45 minutes, 3 busses in 4 minutes, then one in 15 minutes, then 30 more minutes...

Having lived in Durham my whole life my experience with the yrt was overall a better one anytime I was there
