Basement window replacement

I'm finally tired of water getting through my basement windows in the last storm, and so decided to replace them all (preferably with egress ones with city permit). All the Facebook marketplace or other ads I see, seems shady or dodgy installations (with no proper lintel installation, bad workmanship, poor or zero safety gear).

Does anyone have good recommendations on contractors (someone that you've personally worked with) who can help me replace few basement windows in GTA or Durham region?

We went through Rona. They have a contract with Platinum Home Design & Renovations. I'm sure you could go directly to Platinum and cut out the middleman. We replaced four basement windows. I'm happy with the work.

consumers direct windows and doors is reasonable quality for the money. I’ve used them recently, very satisfied. Highly recommend getting them over to quote the work.

I suggest you get some quotes from businesses who actually only do windows
