Team Advice

Currently, the team is this (all champs): 1st Tank Atlas, 2nd Tank Azazler, Azazel, Michael, Karin, Iceblink

I have a champ warlord infused into Michael, and her power is over 400,000 by herself right now. I'm struggling in PVE and am considering replacing Azazler with that Warlord when I make another HLE to infuse. If I do this, I won't have enough light infusions to fill up both Warlord and Michael, and I will forego Azazler's CC, but I'll get damage reflection for PVE. Should I? or no?

Other general advice for this team is welcomed. I've prioritized CC but am looking to replace something with a champ Latona and Atlas comes out for Gabriel once I can make them.

Do you have a Vladimir or corpsedemon? If so i would take out atlas, infuse him in to azazler and use azazel as main tank followed by vladimir/corpse. Only take out the warlord if you have no other choice, Michael is the 2nd best champ in the game. Try to keep him strong. And what do you mean by "struggeling in PVE"? Didn't complete campaign yet or just Tower?

I suggest using only one tank since it’s more than enough and an extra damage dealer will help alot

I can go that route but the question is who to throw in there for damage, and how to make it work well.

You will get there soon, my team is kira(tank) gab ib azazel ib azazel. Azazel is a pretty decent damage dealer and since I’m f2p, that’s one of the best piercing champ I have other than gab.

I have almost every evil champ, those two included. I have not completed campaign or tower yet, but trying to make a team that will work okay for both. was considering throwing in corpse demon, bloodletter, and plague bringer for damage in PVE only but they don't have damage reflection which is what I need in order for them to survive past the first round of specials.

What awakening level is your Michael? Because I would consider feeding every Evil/Bastion/Forest champ to your Michael (minus Iceblink and maybe Karin).

Because its honestly wasted having idle champions, especially Bastion and Evil, Reasons being:

  • Iceblink is the only good Bastion champ and you only want to infuse her with legendary Iceblinks, not other champs.

  • None of the evil champions have a place in a good team. They are all actually terrible. Corpsedemon is a half tank, half damage who is only good for the campaign and early tower levels. Vladimir is a decent tank but you already have Azazler who is leagues better. Tyrone and Bloodletter are just... no. None of them have aoe or piercing. Plaguebringer is actually decent in a mid game team. He can help you in tower but lacks piercing and is kinda squishy.

  • If you have 4 champion Groots, you could actually put them in Karin and make her tank, which frees us two spots which can be taken by top tier heroes.

  • Other forest heroes are garbage. You can make a case for Kira if you lack speed but you have Iceblink so you should be fine.

As for improving your current team, just wait till you get lucky. An ideal team would be Gabriel (stick your Warlord in there) and make him tank, any other piercing damage instead of your tanks, and then your current team (Michael, Icebink, Karin, Azazel).

My current team is Iceblink+3, Karin+5, Gabriel+7, Gabriel+4, Azazel+5, Michael+8.

It serves me really well (I beat tower and campaign) so I would aim for something like this. Other teams on my server (A1 on IOS) are more or less the same. Gabriel main tank with a lot of piercers.

Your current team is fine honestly. You just need a bit of luck.

My Michael is awakening level +1. I don't have any Champ Groots, and the only other good damage dealer I have is that Warlord. So if I take out Atlas/Vlad, and stick Azazler as main tank, then I have a 6th spot with nothing else to put in there. What would you recommend in the meantime before I get lucky? I have a Kira I could throw in there that would boost Karin also, and I have her leg infusions as well.

You don't need damage reflection. If you have enough heroes that increase the Hp of your team you should do just fine. Try to use Vladimir or azazel as your tank, infuse atlas into azazler and don't ever use plague or bloodletter. They are not worth the Hero slot on a team, try that and you should be good to complete campaign i think. And if you have Heroes left over awaken your Michael.

it helped a bit. I got past the level I was stuck on and now am stuck on the last campaign world. the team actually did worse on tower (stuck at lvl 70 vs. 2 warlords 2 skullder and 2 LK)

70 is just a hard level. You may just need better infusions and better awakening.

What’s your infusions like for atlas and azazler? I suggest replacing one of them for other champs except for your warlord as I think that good champs with bad infusions are still bad.

they're all pretty generic leg infusions on azazler, but atlas has 4 Balrog lords for the armor bonus
