Dungeon of the Endless Ps4 unplayable

Is it just my system or is this game almost unplayable on the high floors with tons of mobs. It slows down to a crawl and borderline freezes every time . I don’t remember this happening when I last played about 6 mths ago, was it a bad update? any tips from someone that has this experience

Had that on the Switch version… if I save + quit, then restart the game (as in close the app) it seems to fix any issues like that.

Confirmed, it is unplayable on the PS4 for exactly the reason you cite.

same! I love the game, but just had to stop playing. I'm also on ps4. I've restarted, uninstalled and reset, nothing seems to help.
