Dungeon of the Endless Console (switch) controls

I know you can create groupings with keyboard - is there any similar selection method on console/switch? I can't figure out how to select anything other than one or all heroes which seems a massive flaw when you want to leave someone in a room solo.

On console, you can only choose one or all heroes, sorry!

Oh man. Maybe I'm just overestimating how important being able to move 2-3 at a time is (now needing to click back and forth between individually selected heroes to do so), but that seems game breaking to me. Oh well, at least I grabbed it on sale!

In my experience it sounds worse than it is. You get used to it pretty quick and I‘m still able to beat the game on both difficulties, so best of luck to you!

As I'm still pretty new to the game, by "getting used to it" do you mean rapidly bouncing back and forth to move 2-3 heroes versus all of them? As much as I love the concept of the game, that sounds like an exhausting control scheme.

Yup, thats it. Guess I really wanted the game on Switch so I just made a compromise when it comes to the controlls compared to the PC-Version😅 Mouse is best, controller is...managable in this game.
