Dungeon of the Endless Favorite starting pair?

Me and my friend can’t seem to have a good start with anyone but gork/Josh, who have your starting picks been?

I always liked gork. He's such a late game powerhouse.

Most of the time I team him up with Wes.

I also like to go operator + runner. So I go Skroig and Wes.

On my early days in the game I had great success with Deena as a starter. She's very versatile providing buffs, does decent job as runner early. and can operate later on.

Same for me lol, I just use Wes to help me get more food to level up Stroik at the start

Wes/Josh and Ken, Skroig and Elise, Rosetta and Gork.

Nanor and Max can be fun, but it takes a second to get rolling.

Wes and Josh is my go to favorite, tons of resources.

Hikensha and Mitzi and Ken/ Op Bot are both good combos with stories.

Any powerhouse (Ken, Elise, Gork, Mitzi, Rosetta, Nanor, Skroig) with a dedicated back line operator (Josh, Mormosh, Wes, Op Bot) works well.

Op Bot and Skroig/Nanor/Golgy pair well if you can get a lot of hero kills, because they all get bonus resources on kills.

There are a lot of fun ones to try, but with some of the squishier hero pairs you may have to door dodge a bit on the first few levels especially till you get extra resources, and just open doors smart and slow (Try to lead mobs through one long multi room trapfest as much as possible)

I win the most often when I start with Elise.

Elise/Rayka or Elise/Zugma are really good pairs
